Dirty Waterloo Water
November 25, 2008
Ever since I switched to using a white cup (for rinsing my mouth after I brush my teeth), I have noticed that on some mornings, the water is slightly yellow. This isn’t so apparent for the warm/hot water, but the cold water is really dirty looking sometimes. When I check the water in the toilet, It almost looks like there’s pee = Gross, I know. Then I have to let the water run for a minute or so before it’s colourless again. (This is such a waste of water, but the thought of putting yellow-ish water in my mouth makes me gag!) I think it’s because the cold water doesn’t get used as much in the winter, so it just sits in the water tank? This never happens at home though, so I will put the blame on Waterloo.

You know when I said please post more often…
I didn’t want to read about pee. But thanks anyway, this was very informative. (I use a blue cup but now.. I.. know…)

I just funnel water into my mouth with my hands. Am I the only one who does that?

Krishna, I do that after I wash my face if I still taste toothpaste in my mouth. I know it’s weird. I think I’m just too lazy to reach for my tumbler.

I’ve always used a cup and I like to use cold water, warm water just doesn’t feel as fresh.
